Put Your Best Foot Forward

As you craft your app and essays, there are some things we need to know about you:

You're no stranger to academic excellence.

Show us you can keep up with the rigor of Ross. Earn good grades in challenging classes, including quantitative courses. First-year applicants should have a competitive SAT and/or ACT score.

You work well with others.

Extracurricular experiences show us your passion, drive, initiative, and commitment  and the interpersonal skills that are critical in business. Quality trumps quantity, and we love to see leadership roles.

You do your research.

What makes the Ross BBA right for you? Provide specific examples that relate to your interests, goals, and experiences while highlighting your best qualities. While you may not have your entire career mapped out, it is helpful for us to know why you are interested in business.

You are unique.

The essays give you a chance to show how you’ve applied learning in the past. Use original examples that highlight your strengths.
