Ross MBAs Leave Ohio State Case Competition With Giant Check, First-Place Prize for Best Presenter

Congratulations are in order for three first-year MBAs, who just returned from an Ohio case competition with a big check and bigger accolades.

Adeola Aro, Junior Louis, and Kristan Sock, MBAs ‘20, took second place in the 15th annual Minority MBA Student Case Competition hosted by KeyBank and The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. The team designed an innovative two-part solution to help consumers improve their financial wellness. Sock was also awarded Best Presenter.

The team was advised by Maxim Sytch, Associate Professor of Management and Organizations.

“We enjoyed presenting our recommendation to top level KeyBank leaders and fielding their questions,” Sock said. “Several of the executives came up to us afterward and complimented us on our ideas and performance during the question and answer session.”

Congrats to the team! Go Blue!
