The Class of 2018 is about to end their journey at Michigan Ross and start new ones all over the world. But first, it’s time to celebrate.

The Ross 2018 Commencement Ceremony takes place Friday, April 27 from 3:30pm to 5:45pm. The event can be livestreamed on the Michigan Ross YouTube Channel, the Michigan Ross Facebook Page, or you can watch an embedded stream below.

Graduates are welcome to the Dean’s Open House in the Winter Garden from 12:30pm-2:00pm.

This year’s featured speaker is Instagram COO Marne Levine.

Marne Levine is Chief Operating Officer of Instagram, a community of more than 700 million who use the social platform to bring them closer to the people and things that they care about most. She is responsible for helping to scale the company’s business and operations globally.

Marne joined Instagram from Facebook, where she served as Vice President of Global Public Policy from 2010 to 2014. In this role, Marne led the company’s global public policy strategy, working with governments and organizations to foster understanding and support for Facebook’s innovative technology. Marne also led the team responsible for developing Facebook’s global policies and programs.

Marne will be helping the Class of 2018 cap off a landmark year: student success outcomes are one reason Michigan Ross improved its ranking to #7 in the nation. Not only can these amazing graduates look forward to rewarding careers, but they also have one of the world’s most powerful alumni networks to depend on for the rest of their lives.
