Michigan Ross Is Hosting Several Historic Events During One Incredible Weekend

Michigan Ross Reunion Weekend is always an exciting time of year, but this year stands to be unlike anything we’ve seen before.


This year, history and future will collide during Reunion Weekend, as Ross celebrates the opening of a brand new building with state-of-the-art classrooms, study spaces, and sustainability features and celebrates the 25th Anniversary of our signature MAP program, a ground-breaking approach to learning that has changed the MBA and business education forever.

The events kick off on Thursday, but the highlights take place on Friday:

Jeff T. Blau Hall Ribbon Cutting

Friday, Oct 21
Time: 6:30pm
Location: Patio area outside of Robertson Auditorium
Description: Join us as we officially open the new Jeff T. Blau Hall on the Ross campus. We will be honored with the attendance of Dean Scott DeRue, Stephen Ross, BBA ‘62, Jeff Blau, BBA '90, and former deans Alison Davis-Blake,
Robert Dolan, and Joe White.

MAP 25th Anniversary Celebration

Friday, Oct 21
Time: 7:00pm
Location: Robertson Auditorium
Description: Multidisciplinary Action Projects have pioneered new frontiers for experience-based learning at Ross and business schools across the globe. Celebrate MAP’s success and take a peek at the future during this program.

 

Ross Tailgate

Saturday, Oct 22
Time: 12:30-2:30pm

Location: Winter Garden
Description:
Come celebrate homecoming at the Ross School of Business' Winter Garden with a pre-game tailgate! This year's festivities will feature a tailgate spread with food, drinks and dessert. In addition, we will have a DJ and photographer to help make the event even more memorable. There will even be activities for the littlest football fans in the Wolverine Kids Zone!

Thursday, Oct. 20

Michigan Business Women Club: Homecoming Career Exploration and Networking Event

Time: 6:00pm - 7:30pm
Location: Jeff T. Blau Building, B2560
Description: The Michigan Business Women Club presents its first Homecoming Career Exploration and Networking Event to provide an opportunity for club members and current students to speak with alumni and learn more about a career they may be interested in pursuing. To start off the night there will be speakers, followed by round table discussions divided by discipline for students to ask questions.

Description:
Angela Blunden is the Associate Director of Alumni Career Consulting and will be available to speak with you to provide expert career counseling, online resources, and tools to use to network at any point in your career.

Emeritus Dinner: Honoring the Class of 1966

Time: 5:00-6:00pm
Location: Weiser Dining Room
Description:
The class of 1966, and members of earlier classes, are invited back to campus to celebrate this milestone occasion. Members of the Class of 1966 will be honored with an emeritus pin during the reception in recognition of their 50th anniversary. Admissions Information Session

Description: Blaire Moody Rideout, Director of Undergraduate Admissions of Ross Undergraduate Admissions will host an informative session. If you have someone considering Michigan Ross, we encourage you to attend and learn more about the BBA admissions process.
