Thursday: Is Diversity a Business Buzzword or Critical to Success?
Executives from Google, Kraft, and Morgan Stanley will gather at Ross this week to discuss why diversity needs to be a priority topic for the leaders of today.
The special panel will take place from 5-7 p.m. Nov. 6 in Blau Auditorium.
Chris Genteel, head of diversity markets for Google, will join Tim Mote, director of talent acquisition & university relations for Kraft, and Sanja Savich-Berhamovich, a financial advisor for Morgan Stanley, to discuss the business case for diversity.
Ross’ Director of Diversity and Inclusion T. Shá Duncan Smith will moderate the panel.
The event, “Business Buzzword or Critical Competency?,” is co-sponsored by Michigan Business Women and the Black Business Student Association.
In other diversity event news, Ross will host a Diversity Brunch in NYC with current students and alums to share with prospective students how Ross promotes diversity within our MBA programs. The free event takes place on Nov. 9 in Manhattan, but registration is required.
