Ross BBAs: Test Your Mettle in New Leadership Challenge - March 20 & 21
A new program from the Ross Leadership Initiative is designed to put Ross BBA students’ leadership skills to the test and see who comes out on top, with the winning team earning a $1,250 prize.
The RLI SpotLight event March 20-21 is a crisis leadership simulation inspired by the Ross MBA Leadership Crisis Challenge. Registration for the event is now open, and BBA students are invited to sign up.
Registration is now open for Ross BBA students*
The challenge will push student teams to navigate a dynamic corporate crisis that’s changing faster than they can make decisions. Leadership skills will be tested as teams attempt to lessen the financial, ethical, and public damage to the company before facing a high-intensity press conference where finalists will defend their decisions to a panel of judges.
The final presentations at 1:30 p.m. March 21 in the Colloquium will be open to the public, and members of the audience will be able to submit their burning questions to the final teams via Twitter using the tag #RossBBA.
In addition to the chance to win the top prize, students in the challenge will receive:
- a crisis leadership workshop expertly guided by Ross Professor Lynn Wooten, a world authority on crisis leadership;
- extensive feedback to help hone essential management skills, and;
- an opportunity to network with corporate recruiters.
