As a Ross Weekend or Evening MBA student, you are able to participate in any MBA activities held on campus, as well as join any of the student clubs. You can also enrich your Ross experience with activities outside of class planned exclusively for students in your program, designed to fit the needs and schedules of busy working professionals.
Live Case Competitions
Over the summer, the program will host the leadership team from a local startup company with a real-life business challenge. Weekend and Evening MBA student teams of up to five people compete to develop recommendations to meet that challenge, and present results to the company’s leadership.
Once each term, an executive holds a lunchtime session on a Saturday to talk about his or her particular industry or career path. Presentations are short to allow plenty of time for student interaction.
You can also participate in occasional workshops created specifically for the program, on topics like “How to Network Like a Rock Star” (offered in partnership with the Career Development Office) or a daylong session on using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator personality test in your career.
As a Ross Weekend or Evening MBA student, you can be as active as you wish in all the extracurricular opportunities available to Full-Time MBA students, including our 90-plus graduate student clubs. Some organizations are career or industry focused; others are geared to hobbies, sports, community service, or socializing.
