At Michigan Ross, our goal is to ensure that our Online MBA students achieve both personal and professional success. We take an individualized approach to career development, tailoring our efforts to your specific needs--whether you’re looking to accelerate your career with your current employer, change employers, or switch to a new industry or function altogether.
Customized for You
We know working professionals may have very different professional goals, and we are here to help you reach the next step in your career. Our Career Development Office includes a team of professional career coaches and employer relations staff dedicated to providing our Online MBA students the skills, resources, and connections to help you advance.
The Michigan Ross Career Development Office (CDO) brings recruiters from top companies on campus to meet with graduating MBA students. As a Ross MBA, you can engage in the formal on-campus recruiting process once you have decided to invest the time and resources and have completed CDO’s required preparation. You can work with the coaches in the CDO to determine if this is right for you. If you do decide to engage in the process, we will help you present your best self.
Meet virtually with a CDO expert who is specifically dedicated to Online MBA students and is skilled in working with students in your situation.
CAREER SELF ASSESSMENT
If you’re not sure what your ideal career is, our Career Leader self-assessment program and follow-up meeting with a coach will offer guidance and direction.
LINKEDIN PROFILE REVIEW
LinkedIn is more important than you might think. The professional staff in the CDO can help you leverage your profile to its best.
The resume that got you into business school will likely not be the same resume that gets you hired afterwards. You can get personal attention and advice on your resume from our professional CDO staff.
Chat with a Michigan Ross staff librarian, who can help you research industries, job functions, and specific companies you may want to target.
