Michigan Ross is synonymous with excellence in leadership development.

Whether inside the classroom or out in the field, it's essential that leadership is a key component of your learning experience. Recognizing that accounting is the language of business, the Michigan Ross MAcc Program delivers the leadership essentials that will prepare you to excel in any area of business and beyond.

Immerse in Leadership

Top-ranked leadership development at Ross is typified by our Sanger Leadership Center, which the MAcc Program partners with to offer action-based seminars that help you build the character and skills to excel:

LEADERSHIP STYLE WORKSHOP

In your orientation as a MAcc student, discover your personal leadership style and explore how to best navigate and interact with other leadership styles. This fun, interactive session is a touchstone throughout your time at Ross. You'll find yourself referencing actions or statements as reflective of a certain leadership style, helping you strategize how to best approach that viewpoint.

IMPACT CHALLENGE

Your experience at Ross begins with an intensive challenge that tests your leadership skills and enables you to get to know your classmates.

LEADERSHIP CRISIS CHALLENGE

Test your ability to stay cool under pressure during Leadership Crisis Challenge, an intensive experience in which you and a team of your peers will assume the role of senior management facing a devastating crisis. After you find your solutions, you face a judging panel of faculty and members of the business community.

Craft your personal narrative and discover how to identify and articulate moments of significant impact. This resource is particularly valuable as you interview for jobs.

STORY LAB

Craft your personal narrative and discover how to identify and articulate moments of significant impact. This resource is particularly valuable as you interview for jobs.

LEGACY LAB

Contemplate the legacies left by those before you and the legacy that you want to leave behind. You'll engage in an introspective look at your life and how you want to live the rest of your years.

Together, these programs are a powerful combination that you'll both enjoy and benefit from as you prepare to enter industry. You'll learn the importance of your actions and rise to the challenge of being a leader in everyday life — skills that will serve you well professionally and personally for a lifetime.
