Jennifer Steben

Managing Director, Custom Programs

Jennifer is an accomplished global executive, partnership manager, brand advocate, start-up veteran & public education supporter. She most enjoys delighting clients with unparalleled service and thinking of new ways corporations can stay innovative and inclusive. She believes in global mindset and works with organizations across industries from banking to technology to manufacturing in order to design programming that trains high performers and executives.  She also manages Executive Education’s two women in leadership programs, “Ascending to the C-Suite: From Theory to Practice” and “Next Level Leadership: Making the C-Suite Short List.”

Having spent most of her career in start-ups, first in the Midwest, then in Silicon Valley, then in Paris, Jennifer enjoys digital transformation, flexibility and growth mindset. She has done business development in academia, publishing and Software as a Service. She likes working collaboratively across teams internally and externally.

Jennifer also sits on two boards. She is an elected Trustee for the Board of Education of Saline Area Schools and a Director on the Board of Girls on the Run of Southeastern Michigan. She holds Level 1, Level 2 and Advocacy Skills Certificates via the Michigan Association of School Boards. Through her involvement in Pre-K all the way through Executive Education, Jennifer committed to lifelong learning and giving back to the community.

Outside of Michigan Ross and board commitments, Jennifer enjoys travel, cooking, friends and watching her kids play sports. Park City, Utah, is her second hometown where she tries to keep up with her family while skiing. She is an alumnae of the University of Michigan, consumer of countless virtual and in person programs, and resides locally with her husband, twins and rescue Collie named Fiona.
