Soccer Club at Ross (SCR)The Michigan Business School Soccer Club provides the opportunity for soccer enthusiasts of all skill levels to enjoy the sport by participating in a variety of different activities: weekly weekend scrimmages, intramural competition, outdoor and indoor intramural league games, national inter-business school tournaments in California and Texas, attendance to UM Men's Soccer games, game-viewing at sports bars and other social events. Play is typically at the recreational level, although some events are competitive. A modest membership fee is required, and partners are more than welcome to participate. Come join us, we'll see you on the pitch!
Social Venture FundLaunched in September 2009 by a group of MBA students, the University of Michigan Social Venture Fund (SVF) invests in and supports innovative companies that place social impact at the heart of their business model. SVF fosters the growth of enterprises responding to societal needs that traditional markets have insufficiently addressed. As the first student-run social venture fund in the country, SVF provides an unparalleled action-based learning experience, which places equal importance on maximizing financial returns and socially/environmentally-driven venture investing and entrepreneurship. The fund is housed within the Zell Lurie Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies at the Ross School of Business.
Society for Human Resource Management

To provide University of Michigan students with the opportunity to gain knowledge and insight into the effective management of human capital in the field of Human Resource Management.

Southeast Asia Business AssociationThe SABA seeks to promote a deeper understanding of Southeast Asia business culture and practices within the Ross Business School (hereafter, "Ross") community with the ultimate goal of assisting in the creation of a more diverse and culturally aware student body. Secondly, SABA will serve as a social and networking support group for Southeast Asia students at Ross. Thirdly, the SABA will serve as Ross' window to prominent Southeast Asian alumni for mentoring, job and internship opportunities and connecting alumni to the current Southeast Asia student body. Finally, the SABA will serve as a channel of communication for prospective Southeast Asia students and admitted Southeast Asia students by providing orientation and guidance counseling to facilitate the transition into the Ross community.
Sports Business Association at the Ross School of Business

To provide students at the Ross School of Business (BBA & MBA) interested in pursuing a career in the business of sports, as well as those interested in watching and playing sports, with opportunities to build and/or expand their network in the industry, learn from experienced professionals in the field, understand the different functions and career paths, develop a career plan, identify and capitalize on potential employment opportunities in sports, gather for sporting events and provide an outlet for recreational sporting activities.

StartUM Entrepreneurship

The organization promotes the tenets of entrepreneurship. Students receive essential resources to support their startup journey (mentors / advisors / funding / investors / workshops). Please note that we are known as M-Entrepreneurship.

Strategic Operations Club Operations management is the design, planning, scheduling, and control of the transformation processes that create value for society. Operations includes the materials, capital, and human resource inputs into an organization, and is applicable to both manufacturing and service industries. Effective Operations Management lies at the core of every successful organization. It goes beyond the specifics of a functional area, and integrates all activities to efficiently meet customer needs. The Strategic Operations Club is dedicated to developing leaders able to meet the challenges of tomorrow's dynamic business environment.
Taiwan Business Association (TBA)Taiwan Business Association is designed for Ross students who have strong interest in Taiwan's history, culture, languages, and industry development. Taiwan Business Association would provide the means for Rossers to learn more about businesses in Taiwan and to interact with students, alumni, faculty, professor, UM students who share similar interests in Taiwan.

The TAMID Group is a student-led, non-profit investment fund and consulting group, which manages an equity portfolio and consults for Israeli start-up companies.

Tech Club at the Ross School of BusinessThe Tech Club aims to serve three primary purposes: To build an integrated network of tech-minded MBAs, to educate members on the latest trends and developments in the high tech industry, and to support members in their career pursuits. As one of the most dynamic industries, impacting all other businesses, tech is an increasingly appealing career path for MBAs. As a result, the Tech Club is one of the fastest-growing and largest clubs on campus.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Business Association (LDSBA)Our mission is to represent The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints within the Ross community and to provide opportunities for developing friendships and networking between students, alumni, faculty and business leaders. We aim to support students in their efforts to balance personal, family, education, career, and church obligations so they can make the most of their time at Ross.
Theta Capital

Theta Capital is a University of Michigan financial club focused on the use of derivatives and fundamental and technical analysis to enhance the investment literacy and competency of its members. During your first semester with us, you will follow an in-depth, custom tailored 1:1 educational course that will foster an understanding of both fundamental and technical analysis as well as how to implement various options trading strategies. All the while, you will be engaging in full scale club meetings that utilize both large and small group discussion to analyze an equity and develop potential plays leveraging options, longing, and shorting.

Upround Venture Capital

UpRound's mission is to support and enhance the entrepreneurial ecosystem at Michigan and across the region. UpRound's primary activities are designed to source, accelerate, and write checks out of our fund to startups. UpRound recruits and provides rich education to new members every semester, while providing a space for students passionate about entrepreneurship to bond, develop, and innovate. Additionally, we partner with Plug and Play, Detroit Venture Partners, Bessemer Venture Partners and others to create exclusive career pathways and opportunities for our analysts within the venture capital space.

Victors Value Investments (VVI) is a student-led organization with an emphasis on community that focuses on value investing philosophies, educates its members on financial topics, and provides real-world investing and finance experience.
