We are the club for people with an interest in the energy industry at the Ross School of Business. Our focus is on strategy, trading, finance, project development, and entrepreneurship- in the traditional and renewable energy sectors. The Energy Club seeks to draw together talented students who are interested in the field of energy. In addition to providing a forum for discussion and education, the club provides services to both recruiting companies and students to promote career development and employment. Energy Club Mission: Our mission is to provide for education and employment opportunities within the energy industry at Ross. We break this down into three primary objectives: 1. To incite interest in energy among students and faculty at the Ross School of Business 2. To provide a forum for students to learn more about opportunities in the energy industry and discuss energy-related topics 3. To facilitate career development in the traditional and renewable energy sectors by mentoring students and by reaching out to recruiters to connect them with available talent at Ross and the greater University of Michigan
To help students succeed in the Food, Beverage and Agribusiness industries from a business perspective while providing a social framework to the entire Ross community for discussion of various topics related to food production worldwide.
Using the diversity of our membership base as well as the resources in the Stephen M. Ross School of Business and Tozzi Trading Floor, we aim at providing an unparalleled hands-on learning experience to our fellow members by organizing valuation workshops, speaker series, trading simulations, etc.
As a student-run organization addressing business, culture and other non-political issues, Greater China Association (GCA) aims to strengthen the bonds among current GCA students, serve as a focal point of communication among GCA alumni and students, promote Greater China's role in world economy and its culture in the Ross community, and promote Ross brand in GC areas to potential applicants.
Green Wolverine is a Ross student organization centered on acquiring knowledge related to fully legal business opportunities in the cannabis industry.
The Ice Hockey Club is a group of hockey enthusiasts of varying skill levels who play ice hockey, go to tournaments, and attend other hockey related events. We want to welcome all enthusiasts, regardless of ability to play the sport.
The Impact Investing Group is a student club dedicated to raising awareness and building interest in the impact investing field. Impact investing is investing with the intention of generating social or environmental impact alongside of a financial return. We equip our students with the knowledge and skills to help make a difference through the finance field.
