Your Career, Customized
Heather Byrne, managing director of the Michigan Ross Career Development Office (CDO), discusses the many personalized career resources available throughout your time at Ross.
Get the Support You Need for the Job You Want
Our Career Development Office (CDO) provides resources specifically for Online MBA students, so you can create a plan that works best for your individual needs and goals.
Please note that career development offerings vary for international students living in another country without an eligible U.S. visa. See details below.
Recruiters from top companies come to campus to meet with graduating MBA students. As a Ross MBA, you can engage in the formal on-campus recruiting process once you have decided to invest the time and resources and have completed CDO’s required preparation. You can work with the coaches in the CDO to determine if this is right for you. If you do decide to engage in the process, we will help you present your best self.
Meet virtually with a CDO expert who is specifically dedicated to Online MBA students and can help you explore your career development path while at Ross whether you are looking at positions through on-campus recruiting or an off-campus career move.
If you’re not sure what your ideal career is, our Career Leader self-assessment and follow-up meeting with a coach will offer guidance and direction.
LinkedIn Profile Review
LinkedIn is more important than you might think. The professional staff in the CDO can help you leverage your profile to its best.
An excellent resume highlights your strengths and your past successes, to create a snapshot of your professional fit for the job you want. We'll work with you on balancing all of those priorities on your resume.
Chat with a Michigan Ross staff librarian, who can help you research industries, job functions, and specific companies you may want to target.
