Greater China Association (GCA)

As a student-run organization addressing business, culture and other non-political issues, Greater China Association (GCA) aims to strengthen the bonds among current GCA students, serve as a focal point of communication among GCA alumni and students, promote Greater China's role in world economy and its culture in the Ross community, and promote Ross brand in GC areas to potential applicants.

Healthcare and Life Science ClubThe Healthcare and Life Science (HLS) Club is dedicated to preparing members for successful careers across all sectors of the healthcare industry.  HLS Club members are ready to take on leadership roles in the industry and make a significant impact globally. "¢ To provide excellent education programs to advance members' understanding of the intricate and evolving issues of the healthcare industry and to prepare members to lead the industry innovatively and ethically.  "¢ To host meaningful networking events so that members develop a strong, responsive professional network. "¢ To build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with corporate partners with the goal of enhancing the career exposure and prospects for our members and enriching our corporate sponsors by providing them with access to a rich talent pool of students ready to take on the challenges of their companies. Human Capital Club (HCC)Mission: The Human Capital Club at the Michigan Business School promotes the understanding and integration of human capital and other organizational strategy issues in business practice through the education and development of its members. Objectives The HCC fulfills its mission by: *Developing and facilitating educational opportunities for its members to learn about organizational strategy and relevant areas of interest, both in theory and practice. *Providing members with career resources to guide them through career development while at Michigan Ross *Establishing a network of resources both within and beyond the university community through which its members may help further professional knowledge and understanding beyond their formal education. *Serving as the conduit between individuals passionate about organizational strategy and faculty, to ensure that the university environment supports engagement in the field throughout the curriculum and campus.
Indian Subcontinent Business AssociationThe Indian Subcontinent Business Association is a student club dedicated to helping students of Indian subcontinent origin transition into business school life, promoting awareness about the subcontinent among the larger business school community and encouraging social and professional interaction among students from the subcontinent. Investment Management ClubThe purpose of the Investment Management Club is to broaden and deepen members' knowledge and understanding of investments. Our primary focus is to help members recruit for and obtain investment management and research positions at mutual funds, hedge funds, asset management firms, and investment banks. In addition, membership can be enjoyed by those who simply want to enhance their knowledge of investments and financial markets.
Japan Business Association at RossThe Japan Business Association seeks to promote a deeper understanding of Japanese business culture and practices throughout the Ross community. We aim to build and further the awareness of the Ross MBA in Japan, and to assist both prospective and admitted students in their transition to Ross. As the primary link between the Ross School of Business and the Ross Alumni Club of Japan, we also maintain and develop new networking and professional opportunities for our members, both domestically and internationally.
Korea Business Club (KBC)Korea Business Club at Ross is a graduate student organization open to all MBA students who are interested in Korean cultures, communities and businesses. We provide information, resources, tools and guidance to members for careers in Korea and promote a deeper understanding of Korean business culture within the Ross community.
Latin American Business Student Association (LABSA)The Latin American Business Students Association is a graduate student organization open to all MBA students who are interested in Latin cultures and communities. Our goal is to provide a stimulating and supportive network to LABSA members by: 1) Building and fostering the network among current students. 2) Advancing the awareness of Latin culture at Ross Business School. 3) Supporting students interested in careers in the US and Latin America. 4) Assisting international student's transition into Ross Business School life. 5) Facilitating communication among Ross alumni and current students. 6) Enhancing Ross brand in Latin America and within Latin communities in the US.
Maize & JewThe Maize & Jew provides social, cultural and networking opportunities for graduate Jewish business students. The club aims to bring its members together with other Jewish graduate students on campus as well as serve as an educational resource for the greater business school community.
Maize and BrewThe Maize & Brew Club is a non-profit organization devoted to the appreciation, drinking, and brewing of beer as well as a resource for students interested in entering the beer industry. Maize & Brew's goal is educate members about the characteristics of beer, beer making processes, industries, and provide action-based learning opportunities through educational series and corporate business operations tours. Join today and Maize & Brew will keep you up-to-date on all-things-beer here in Ann Arbor, including brewing events, brewery tours, and happy hours. MBA Christian FellowshipABOUT US A non-denominational Christian community at the Ross School of Business dedicated to sharing God's love, encouraging its members, and growing in our faith together. WHY We are devoted to understanding how and why the Christian faith informs both our professional and personal life decisions. We aim to better understand the intersections between faith and the business world while also rejoicing in His enduring love and the amazing blessings that come with it. MBA FinTech Club at RossFinTech is one of the fastest growing sectors and has the power to radically change the way individuals and businesses acquire, exchange, and manage money. The MBA FinTech Club at Michigan Ross seeks to promote FinTech career opportunities and knowledge for MBAs through educational sessions, industry speakers, and company and career connections. The club is dedicated to MBAs, but actively partners with the University and Ross-wide FinTech initiatives, in addition to the broader Michigan FinTech Club, to bring the best FinTech learning and career opportunities to MBAs.
Michigan China ForumMichigan China Forum is a student-run forum striving to broaden student’s vision on Sino-US relationships about various disciplines. The goal of the forum is to “connect Michigan to China” and “empower future leaders” with global visions.
Michigan Marketing Club (MMC)The Marketing Club at Ross is comprised of more than 300 students with interests in diverse fields such as brand management, healthcare, technology, consulting, and services. The club strives to equip students with the necessary tools and coaching to excel in networking and interviewing. We hope you utilize all the resources the club has to offer, including our new Marketing Lab initiative, which connects Ross students with real-world data in innovative ways to solve real-world marketing challenges.
MTrekLooking for a fun way to kick-off your Ross experience and make lasting bonds with your classmates before school starts? M-Treks are 7-10 day long MBA2 led adventure trips that promote fun, friendship, and the Ross culture. Treks are completely student run, open to all incoming students, and are a great way to meet classmates and start building bonds before you formally start the MBA curriculum. Treks of 10-20 students catered to a variety of travel interests will cross the globe in mid-August. Whether you enjoy camping in the heart of the wilderness or spending time on the beach in an exotic location, there's a trek for you. Visit a country new to you, explore a different culture, or try something out of your comfort zone. Some trips are action packed, backpacking and hosteling adventures while others have more of a tropical, laid back feel. After your trip, you'll head back to Ross with a great group of friends (Fellow MBA1 Trekkers) to hang out with in Ann Arbor and mentors (MBA2 Trip Leaders) that can tell you the secrets to making it through your first year.
Out for Business at Ross (OFB)Out for Business strives to accomplish three goals: to build community among the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) members of the Ross community, to provide professional development resources for our membership and to raise awareness among all Ross faculty, staff and students of the issues facing LGBT individuals in society.
Outdoor Club at Ross School of BusinessThe purpose of ROC is to promote outdoor activities at the Ross School of Business. We believe an active lifestyle allows an individual to be well rounded and leads to a happier, healthier, and more successful life.
Part-Time MBA Association

The Evening MBA Association is dedicated to promoting the Evening MBA experience at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business.The primary goals of the Association are: To provide professional, academic, and social networking opportunities for Evening MBA students. To ensure continual Evening MBA student representation and perspective in Business School affairs. To contribute to the building of the larger Business School community by partnering with other programs and clubs within the school.   The Evening MBA Association strives to fulfill these goals through events and activities planned to appeal to the unique perspective and situation of the Evening MBA student. The Evening MBA Association serves as an information source and support organization for each stage of involvement in the program: prospective students wishing to learn more about the program, new and current students navigating their way through opportunities and resources available in the Business School while facing work/school/life balance, and graduating students transitioning to the Alumni community.
