Tess Levin

Class of 2023

Prior to Ross, I taught with Teach for America in Chicago and then with Achievement First Charter Schools in Brooklyn. My focus was teaching elementary school special education, reading, and writing. After four years of creating impact within the four walls of my classroom, I was eager to create change at the systemic and organizational levels, so I decided to attend business school to advance my leadership and strategy skills and pursue strategy consulting, which I will be doing after I graduate next year. I chose Ross because of its collaborative community and focus on social impact (especially through initiatives such as Social Venture Fund). I've found that Ross has exceeded my expectations from my inspiring classmates to the abundant hands-on learning experiences to the unparalleled Michigan spirit here in Ann Arbor. I am grateful to grow my knowledge and skillset at this special place to ultimately create long-lasting social impact in the business world and beyond after Ross.
