Sonja Manning

Class of 2021

Prior to Ross I spent almost a decade in DC, where I studied Organizational Sciences at The George Washington University and then worked in Deloitte's Government Human Capital Consulting practice. Through consulting I learned that I love helping people and organizations reach their potential. However, I knew I needed to gain more business analytics skills and grow my own leadership abilities in order to continue helping organizations - especially start-ups (an area I'm focusing on at Ross!) - reach their growth potential and expand. Through consulting I also realized I learn best by doing and the action-based learning focus at Ross is unparalled. I am learning more than I thought possible and being both challenged and supported every day. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy cooking, biking, teaching fitness classes, and skydiving in Jackson Michigan!
