Originally from Bangladesh, I am a first-year online MBA student currently working as a Program Manager at Cirrus Logic based in Austin, TX. My responsibility is to manage teams that develop audio chips for leading mobile phone manufacturers like Apple, Samsung. Prior to joining Cirrus, I worked at Microchip Technology based in Phoenix as Principal Project Engineer in charge of managing analog & mixed-signal product development teams. Although I have a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arizona and an M.S. from Arizona State University, an MBA will help fast track my career advancement.
When deciding which MBA program I should choose my primary criteria was finding a school that has an excellent curriculum & offers flexibility because of my busy work schedule. Based on the research it was obvious that Ross's online MBA program should be my #1 choice. So, I didn’t even bother to apply to any other school. The day I first contacted the Ross Admissions team, it was clear to me right away that this team was very supportive of students compared to other MBA programs whether the student gets admitted or not. Every time I asked a question during my entire admissions process, received a prompt response. Now after completing the first class, I have no doubt that I made the correct choice by joining Ross. Although it is an online program the quality of the curriculum is excellent & taught by renowned professors. Not only that, I have an excellent group of classmates who are smart and helping me improve my business skills by exchanging ideas during group discussions & case studies. The self-paced curriculum is working great for me.
There are a lot of options out there when a student is selecting an MBA program & finding the right one can be tricky. I felt this way while applying. But now as I have made the right decision, I’m available to help by answering any questions you may have so that you can make the right decision too.
