With a decade of experience in the insurance and financial services industry, I currently work at Jackson, located in Lansing MI.  I have an unrelenting passion to create and lead teams from the ground level to maturity, and I'm hopeful to learn to transform industries through my education and career.  Thus far, I've been afforded opportunity during my career to hold positions in Operations, Enterprise Risk Management, Call Center, and Project Management roles to contribute to my abilities to problem solve and inspire others with vision, data analysis, process improvements, and creative thinking. The challenging curriculum and diverse culture within the weekend MBA program at Ross drew my attention;and, post acceptance, I was promoted to the Director of the Operations Command Center and Administrative Compliance Monitoring, where the flexibility of the program will be important for my schedule.  While my accomplishments are broad, it was a long term goal to graduate from a top-MBA program to expose myself to other driven individuals and a world class education.  

Although early in my Ross experience, I am ecstatic to have proven how the program enables me to further cultivate and broaden my skill-set in an environment with other driven, intelligent, and passionate professionals. Our cohorts are filled with interesting and knowledgeable individuals and the team-based activities expose us to people from across the country with different cultures and experiences.  I have been challenged to grow and explore action-based coursework that I have had little exposure to in my past and was hoping to challenge myself with during the two year program.  I am most excited for the  hands-on learning through MAP and activities through the Sanger Leadership Center; although, I also plan to engage in the co-curricular groups.
