While doing my online MBA at Ross I am continuing to develop my career at Genus PLC, the global leader in animal genetic improvement for pork, dairy and beef. Within Genus, Genetic Services disseminates elite genetics through breeding stock, allowing agriculture to realize continuous improvement in animal health, productivity, and sustainability.  I lead the genetic services teams across Genus' two largest swine business units, representing over 75% of our operating profit.  My team designs and executes product distribution strategies that are specific to each country we operate in across North and South America, balancing logistics and costs with the value generated by new elite genetics.  I have been a successful leader in the company by integrating concepts from R&D through to product commercialization.  As the protein sector rapidly evolves I am pursuing an MBA from Michigan Ross to compliment my PhD, international industry, and leadership experiences.  I aim to ensure novel biotechnologies are successfully integrated into the farm-to-table value chain and positively impact global food security.
