Le'Asia Wright
Class of 2019
Since graduating from Queens University of Charlotte in 2014, I have been working as a financial analyst at Ford Motor Company. In this role, I have been uniquely positioned to leverage rotational opportunities to develop my core competencies and gain exposure to the company’s various business functions. Over the past few years, I have worked in departments such as Manufacturing, Ford Credit, and Product Development.
One thing that I’ve always desired in regard to my career is a path that offers diversified experiences, yields a well-rounded business perspective, and aids in the development of key leadership skills; and I knew that this type of career path coupled with an MBA would best equip me to become an effective, influential business leader.
Obtaining my MBA has always been a goal of mine. However, my decision to earn a Ross MBA was influenced by the program’s commitment to developing positive leaders and providing hands-on learning. Some of my favorite experiences to date include the Leadership Crisis Challenge and MAP. In addition to these aspects of the program, what I enjoy and have come to appreciate the most are the amazing, supportive, and talented group of people I get to share this experience with.
