Lauren Abuouf
After graduating from Colgate University in 2010, I began my career in the public sector and then transitioned to the NYC startup scene leading customer experience and operations teams. While I enjoyed the impact of working in an early-stage startup environment, my attention turned toward how to help companies achieve sustainable long-term growth. This experience led me to pursue business school to pivot into a career as a corporate strategist. I felt the Ross difference long before I was ever a student here. When I was in the process of researching schools, I was overwhelmed by the level of support I received from Ross students and the Consortium community here, especially. It was the warmth and welcoming energy of Rossers that reaffirmed my interest in the school. I knew from interactions with students that Ross would be a place where I could thrive. Please feel free to reach out to me to discuss anything from life as a New York transplant, section leadership, student funds, to life in Ann Arbor. I am passionate about connecting people to personal and professional development opportunities. In addition to my role as CGSM liaison, I am also the VP of Prospective Students for the Black Business Students Association (BBSA). When I’m not talking to prospective students, you can find me on a bike path, in one of Ann Arbor’s many parks, or at the best ice cream shop in town (Blank Slate!)
