I graduated from Michigan State University in the Spring of 2013 and found my way to Boston shortly thereafter. Over the following 6 years I worked for companies both large and small, across varying industries, culminating in my current position at Bain & Company. Working in HR/Payroll I had always wanted more out of my career, and after surrounding myself with so many impressive people who have attended some of the most prestigious universities in the world, I found myself ready to pursue my own path.
The Weekend Program at Ross was attractive to me because I could continue working in Boston while also getting a world class education that carries weight no matter where I might go. Being from Michigan and aiming to return to the state, I knew that Ross would open more doors for my return home than the schools in my area out East. After speaking with current students, going through the admissions process, and attending M Go Blue Weekend, I knew that Michigan was the place for me. Starting day one, going through the Sanger Leadership Center's Business+Impact Challenge, it was apparent what Michigan values and how they work to get the best out of their students.
My goals are still in front of me and Ross provides the tools required to make an impact in our world. I enjoyed learning as much as I could not only through classwork, but by conversing with impressive students and faculty who have my best interests at heart. Since graduating I have joined PwC in Human Capital consulting in Detroit.
