Class of 2022

Originally from the Philadelphia area, I left my home state to attend college at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Go Heels!). After school, I spent two years in Washington, DC advocating for bipartisan federal health policy to enhance healthcare quality and affordability. Seeking more direct experience with health service delivery, I moved to rural western Kenya to lead program strategy and evaluation with a community health and development nonprofit. After a year in Kenya, I moved back to Washington, DC to join the supply chain practice at a boutique public health consulting company. During my nearly three years with the company, the main project I worked on was a public-private partnership expanding access to female contraceptives in low- and middle-income countries. This experience underlined the value of being able to work cross-functionally and the need for more leaders who can bridge the disciplines of business and health. Given Ross' focus on social impact and action-based learning, I decided to pursue my dual MBA/MPH in Epidemiology degrees here at the University of Michigan. Ask me about the Pinkert Scholarship program, the dual degree experience, maintaining a long-distance relationship during grad school, and any of the listed clubs and organizations I'm involved with!
