Class of 2022

Originally from the Philadelphia area, I left my home state to attend college at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Go Heels!). After school, I spent two years in Washington, DC advocating for bipartisan federal health policy to improve healthcare access and quality. Seeking more direct experience with health service delivery, I moved to rural western Kenya to lead program strategy and evaluation as a Princeton in Africa fellow with a community health and development nonprofit. Upon the culmination of my year-long fellowship, I moved back to Washington, DC to join the global supply chain practice at a boutique public health consulting company. The primary project I was staffed on during my nearly three years with the company was a public-private partnership focused on increasing access to female contraceptives in low- and middle-income countries. This experience underlined the value of cross-functional collaboration and, specifically, the need for more leaders who can bridge the disciplines of business and health. Given Ross' emphasis on social impact and action-based learning, I decided to pursue my dual MBA and MPH in Epidemiology degrees at the University of Michigan. Ask me about health studies and recruiting, the Pinkert Scholarship, the dual degree experience, and any of the listed clubs and organizations I'm involved with!
