Katarina Chan

Class of 2021

Prior to Ross, I spent over 7 years working in social media and content marketing experience at Fortune 100 companies. I graduated from University of California, Davis with a double major in Graphic Design and Sociology. A designer and creator at heart, I've always had a passion make, create, and innovate. My professional achievements include pioneering a Forbes "viral" campaign for Adobe in 2018, and leading two award-winning campaigns for Google. I chose to pursue my MBA because I wanted to gain the business fundamental, strategic and quantitative skills needed to be successful as a Product Marketer or Product Manager. Ross stood out as the best school for me because of the breadth of action based learning opportunities (ask me about MAP - I loved it!) for me to get my hands “dirty” and try different things. Currently, I’m the co-president of Design+Business where I get to lead design programs and learn more about the intersection of design, technology, and business. Additionally, as a board member at AABA, I lead initiatives to promote culture, community, and diversity amongst the Asian American community at Ross.
