I’m a proud Black and gay MBA, born and raised in Houston, Texas, and moving to Ann Arbor will be the first time I’ve lived outside of my hometown for an extended length of time. Prior to Ross, I worked in chemical manufacturing in corporate accounting, finance, and most recently in diversity, equity, and inclusion.
At Ross, I’m hoping to continue my pivot and focus on business at the intersection of social impact, explore solutions for greater economic access and financial inclusion for communities of color, and further expand my diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) knowledge and experience.
I chose Ross because it was undeniably the place where I felt the most seen and supported to be unapologetically me. Plus, the action-based learning opportunities here are unmatched anywhere else. I'm open to sharing the knowledge and resources that made my dream of Ross a reality. I’m also open to talking about the business school journey from a first-gen. perspective as well.
