I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and spent 12 years in Los Angeles prior to Ross. The first eight years of my career were in the nonprofit industry, working at national LGBTQ+ nonprofits such as The Trevor Project and Point Foundation and then most recently in talent development, diversity and inclusion at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Aside from the amazing community of people that make up Ross, I chose to pursue my MBA here because of the focus on social impact and the hands on-learning opportunities that would help me acquire the skills and knowledge needed to pursue a career in human capital and corporate social responsibility. Outside of work you can find me attending concerts, exploring restaurants and breweries in Ann Arbor and the surrounding area, or getting outside for a hike or a bike ride. I'm happy to chat about what it's like to move from California, moving with a partner (and cats), being LGBTQ+ at Ross and anything related to social impact.
