Hometown: Cleveland, Ohio
Hey everyone! I am so glad that you are interested in Ross and the University of Michigan! I am a sophomore from Cleveland, Ohio pursuing a BBA from Ross and a BSI from the School of Information. In high school, I was really interested in the intersection between business and public policy after being a member of my debate team, a political campaign, and student government. After visiting Ross, I knew that this was the place for me given the opportunities in my specific area of interest and all the other opportunities I could explore right at my fingertips. Since I have been here, I have been part of dynamic team experiences, groundbreaking research, and a community that supports and nurtures intellectual growth and outreach.
What makes Ross so unique is that the opportunities here do not stop in the classroom. In my free time, I have been able to work with small businesses around the Detroit area to restructure their businesses and enter new markets through my consulting club. I am also a member of an investment club where we make use of the Tozzi Electronic Business floor and we can make trades in real-time and do market research using platforms such as Bloomberg. Being a student at Ross also gives access to the entire University of Michigan which means you can join a wide variety of organizations in whatever field you may be interested in! For example, before coming to Michigan, I had never gardened in my life. However, now I work at the campus farm near the engineering school every Friday.
I am so excited that you are interested in Ross! There is nothing more I love to talk about than Michigan so please feel free to reach out to me either via email or stop by my office hours! Forever, GO BLUE!
