I’ve always loved learning about people and why they do what they do. It’s why I chose to major in International Studies at Washington University in St. Louis, and why I chose to work in market research consulting in Chicago after graduation. In my role, I enjoyed building relationships both with my clients in day-to-day operations, as well as building relationships with my project teams. However, after working with multiple major consumer brands, I realized I wanted to be on the client side, where I would be directly involved in brand-building and reaching out to consumers. I knew that getting my MBA would allow me to pivot my career and gain the business skills necessary to become a brand manager. I came to Ross to in part because I am a native Michigander, but more importantly, because of the community. The people here are the smartest, most collaborative, and most genuine people I have had the pleasure of meeting. I knew that at Ross, I would have the opportunity to learn from my peers both in and out of the classroom.
