Prior to Ross, I worked at two marketing agencies and a technology startup in New York City. Most recently, I led an analytics team focused on improving media planning and buying strategies. I have always been passionate about the way that media, politics, and education shape social conversations.I want to solve complex problems in management consulting or corporate strategy in those areas after graduating. I am a Community Consulting Club member and a Nonprofit Board Fellow. Both allow me to work with nonprofits during business school. I was immediately impressed with the learn-by-doing attitude and the pride that everyone felt about being part of this community during my first visit to Ann Arbor. I am a huge sports fan: rooting for the Giants, Yankees, and now Wolverines.
My advice to prospects is to talk to multiple people at every school you're seriously considering. You will start to pick up on themes that characterize a school and the types of people that choose that school. Remember, you're choosing somewhere to live for two years and an alumni network to be a part of forever, so it's important that you are comfortable with and energized by the people!
