Brittany Minor

Class of 2020

I've always been motivated by doing work where I feel as though I can have a meaningful impact. That paired with my interest in global issues led me to work in emerging markets consulting prior to Ross. My focus was on winning federal government contracts to implement programming throughout Sub-Saharan Africa and the Caribbean across varied sectors. After six years in emerging markets consulting, I decided to go to business school to look into market-based approaches for economic development in emerging markets. I'm interested in pivoting my career towards facilitating growth in businesses in emerging markets through investment and growth strategy consultation. I chose Ross because of the focus the school puts on using business as a vehicle for positive social change, which spoke directly to me and my interests. I was excited by the multiple opportunities for action-based learning at Ross which would allow me to get real life experience applying what I was learning in the classroom. My time at Ross so far has been amazing and I constantly find myself learning from and being impressed by my peers!
