Ben Roos
Intel's strategic restructuring in 2016 inspired my desire to lead large organizations through challenging corporate transformations. I came to Ross because of the school's emphasis on collaborative leadership and building team experiences, both of which are central to my personal management philosophy. The Tauber Institute was a way for me to expand my manufacturing background to better understand the intertwined nature of operations and strategy execution, and gave me the opportunity to manage a project and develop new employees. In addition to just the business school, the University of Michigan was very high on my list of programs because of the coziness of Ann Arbor, the competitiveness of the Big Ten sports, and the proximity to scuba diving locations on the Great Lakes. I don't regret my business school choice for a second, and am happy to share my passions with any prospective students that would like to know more about the Ross School of Business. Go Blue!
