Hello everyone! My name is Andrew Mei, and I am a BBA and MAcc alum of Michigan Ross. I am originally from Chicago, spent five amazing years in Ann Arbor, and now back in my hometown. At U-M, I focused around the intersection of business and social impact. I minored in Community Action and Social Change, and was part of several organizations that helped me understand more about using business to create change in people, organizations, and communities. I have since brought incorporated that focus into my full-time job at PwC, where along with audits of the healthcare industry, I take part in our local market diversity & inclusion and corporate social responsibility programs.
The MAcc program was a great community to be a part of - I will always remember the great times I had as part of our DC symposium trip, through the class social events, and all the countless hours spent studying for the CPA exams! The program truly prepared me well to interact with others from around the world, and understand accounting with more detailed perspectives - two things that are invaluable to my career. I always love to reminisce about my experience, so feel free to reach out with any questions. Go Blue!
