I grew up in Puerto Rico and come from a low-income family background. Higher education was something I didn't think was possible because I didn't have financial support. However, upon learning about the Consortium and Forte, I realized it was possible. I chose Ross because of the culture. I was looking for a community that would help me grow, make me feel welcome & seen, and supported each other. I found that everyone at Ross was so willing to talk to me, listen, and provide honest & vulnerable insights. A side benefit was all the opportunities Ross offers for Leadership development through Sanger and hands-on approach through MAP. I learn best by doing and one of my MBA goals was to develop as a more inclusive leader, so being able to find both in an MBA program made Ross truly unique.
