After completing my Master’s in Industrial Engineering, I started my professional career in engineering product development at Navistar. Later, I moved to FCA where I worked on automotive engineering projects in various capacities. I started considering an MBA when I moved to a product lead role and got opportunities to train global teams throughout the product development process. I was always curious to learn about the product strategy decisions made at the top level and wanted to move from technical product management to a business strategy role.
Hence, I decided to pursue my MBA in order to enhance my business acumen and skill set as a critical next step to my career. Ross weekend MBA was a clear choice because I could continue to work while leveraging Ross’s action-based learning methodology to gain real world business experience. A lockstep two-year program with the same set of peers was another factor that helped me make this decision. I am excited to be a part of the Michigan Ross community, and I am eager to interact with prospective students about any and all aspects of a Michigan Ross MBA.
