After completing an Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at Wayne State University, I began my career as an engineer at Ford Motor Company. While at Ford, I completed a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at Wayne State University in the evenings and currently work in a role leading software development teams.

After working with a variety of engineering teams, I recognized a need to balance development of technical, business, and people leadership skills to create high performing teams. I enjoy the work I do leading software development teams and decided to pursue an MBA to strengthen my leadership and business skills to better serve teams I lead as I pursue additional responsibilities.

The Ross Weekend MBA program was a great fit for me because it allowed me to continue to grow in my position at work while gaining additional skills I desired. The cohort format of the Weekend MBA program has also been a great way to form connections with diverse classmates and learn from their experiences in a variety of industries.
