After working in a niche area of consulting for over four years, I wanted to become a Tech Product Manager: a role that has both a forward-looking strategic focus and provides the opportunity to build and ship consumer-facing products from the ground up. To do so, I knew I needed to get my MBA in order to build the skills to be successful in understanding customers and translating that understanding into a commercially-viable product. At Ross, I've been able to tailor my experience to best achieve these goals. Through the Zell Lurie Dare to Dream grant for new venture formation and the Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital club's Catalyst program, I have been able to flex my product-building muscles by using Ross resources to support startup ideas in the Enterprise SaaS, FinTech, and Healthcare spaces. I also relied extensively on Ross resources, such as my FACT group and the CDO, to help prepare me for Tech PM interviews, ultimately receiving multiple offers!
