Career Background

Susan Meyer is currently the Americas Deputy Risk Management Leader for Ernst & Young (EY). She oversees many aspects of risk management and compliance and supports our client teams in delivering quality and exceptional client service. The Risk Management team works closely with all parts of the business to identify and manage EY’s risk.

Prior to this role, she was a partner in EY’s Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) practice, with over 20 years of experience serving clients’ global merger, acquisition and divestiture activities across many industry segments. She also served as the EY Global Client Service Partner for several private equity firms and TAS Account leader for a number of corporate clients.

She has held a number of other roles in additional to client service, including West Region TAS Quality Leader and West Region Transaction Support Leader. Additionally, she previously led the TAS Diversity and Inclusion efforts in both the West Region and the Americas, served on EY’s Americas Inclusiveness Advisory Council and was elected to EY’s Americas Ethics Oversight Board.

Sue received both her Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Accounting degrees from the University of Michigan, and is licensed as a CPA in Georgia and Illinois. Sue served on the Bay Area Council and the Global Student Support Council for the Victors for Michigan Campaign. She is currently a member of the Directors Acquisition Committee at the University of Michigan Museum of Art, and chairs the Board of Trustees for the Alpha Phi Omega Endowment Trust.
