Student Organizations and Clubs
Out for Business at Ross is the official LGBTQIA2S+ association for Ross BBA and MBA students. With LGBTQIA2S+ members and engaged allies, OFB is an active part of the school's vibrant community. OFB seeks to integrate the greater Ross community and encourage dialogue about the unique issues that LGBTQIA2S+ people face in the workplace and in society. The group organizes a variety of social and educational events that foster a sense of community and build awareness.
Out for Business at Ross also provides extensive support to members in their career searches, offering resources such as:
- Mentoring — Second-year MBA students actively support incoming students as they navigate the internship recruitment process, helping with cover letters, resume reviews, and more.
- On-Campus Recruiting — OFB works with a wide variety of firms to facilitate the recruiting process for LGBTQIA2S+ students at Ross. The group works with companies to set up numerous networking opportunities specifically for LGBTQ+ students.
- Off-Campus Recruiting — OFB helps students connect with additional firms through mentorship and participation in the annual Reaching Out MBA conference.
The University of Michigan Spectrum Center is committed to enriching the campus experience and developing students as individuals and as members of communities.
Out for Business sponsors National Coming Out Week awareness events, the annual MBgAy Fundraiser, and more.
